The thought of cooking kung pao chicken in a wok over a wood fire absolutely makes me salivate. We did this one time while camping. If you like the kung pao, try it over a campfire. (where's my lunch) I would imagine even a vegetarian kung pao would be tasty. If you have the room for a wok, I say take it. The wok can act as a kettle or a fry pan.
