[Paddlewise] SeaKayaks and the Lower Brazos River

This sorta fits in with the bayou paddling threads,
though the Lower Brazos certainly isn't a bayou...

I know this may not be an interesting or exciting idea to
some folks, but I've been thinking about what would be 
involved in solo paddling the Brazos from Rosenberg down
to Freeport, and was wondering if anyone here had done
that or something similar.   All the logistics look fine, 
there's a good put-in spot in Rosenberg [Brazos Park], 
there don't appear to be any dams below there, at least 
from what I can tell from various maps, and its the kind 
of terrain I enjoy being around.  It probably wouldn't be 
any fun in the late spring or summer because of mosquitos, 
but during winter, I can't think of a good reason why not.

Any thoughts?
