[Paddlewise] Hippo's (was gators)

Hi Barb,

I would be interested in hearing more about this.  Sounds like there is
an interesting story here.  In "A Boat in Our Baggage" by Maria Coffey
she mentions the hippos they encountered in their journey and being quite
wary of them.  I have heard they are responsible for more human deaths 
that crocodiles.   And they seem so cute and harmless :-)
