I am the editor for the Southern Maine Sea Kayaking Network here in
Maine. We put out a quarterly newsletter and I am always looking for
helpful information & fillers.  I would like to reprint  information  I
glean from your contributions. Does anyone have a problem with that? 
If you would like I will contact people individually to let them know I 
am "publishing" their opinions and will credit "paddlewise" as well. 

If any of you have funny kayak experiences,  quotes or even favorite
books you could do a tiny review of, that would be great. So often the
info you discuss is valuable and important (as well as humorous and
interesting).
