Surplus stores have plastic containers for drinking water in a variety of
shapes (also camping/wilderness stores but they tend to be pricey).  You can
locate one behind your seat if you have the room, or rear compartment close to
the bulkhead if you have a bulkhead, or both.  A bungie system may not offer
the holding power for an item as heavy as a few gallons of water, so straps are
a better method with secure anchor points.
