Since my wife started school full time I have't paddled much... But when I do paddlle it is a Discover from Northwest Kayaks. The worse part about this kayak is the name! This is a fairly high volume boat. You can lean *way* over with this boat before going over. Two summers ago I nearly rolled it over while practicing bracing near Mamalilacula in B.C. (near Johnstone Straight). With a combination of spasams, that I swear were an attempt to hip snap and were not caused by panic, I was able to prevent the roll over. ;-) It is very well made and handles well. I am not a very experienced paddler but have seen a few days on the water and still like the boat. The only thing that neither my wife or I like about it is the seat. We both find that our legs hurt after much time in the boat. I have done nothing to correct this however.
