same with whitewater canoeing. the majority of our club's whitewater rated
instructors spend their time on class III or less. many spend their time
training strictly on class II water, and it pays off for them, as they
have regularly placed very well [or won!!] the ACA Whitewater Open Canoe
Slalom Nationals!! there are numerous exceptions, but the bulk of the club
paddles class II or less...
