btw, if anyone else would like to volunteer to do this with other subjects,
I will be more than happy to include it on the PaddleWise articles page
(with appreciative credit given to the volunteer :-).  I am excluding email 
addresses due to email harvesters used on web pages, but contributors' 
names are retained for credit (and of course, there are the paddlewise
archives for further reference).

If anyone has a photo of their homebuilt kayaks they would like to include 
along with their "my boat" message, just send me a jpeg and I'll add that 
to the thread, too (or anyone with a favorite picture of themselves in their 
favorite kayak :-).  

George, if you have any photos of your tent-wrecking mama moose, I'd
like to include her in the tent thread :-)  Whatamoose!
