This is truly a great thread...one that i'm go to encourage on NYCKAYKER later this spring. For myself i paddle an Arluk III...this will be the fourth year in this boat. It's a kevlar/carbon layup...extremely light and fast. It scared me silly when i bought it, but now we're friends for the most part. Still can't roll it, but my bracing is very solid. I also paddle a kevlar/carbon Nootka which never fails to turn heads as my partner and i head up the Hudson river. The Nootka is what, 20, 21 feet long?
