If they actually lose their boats, as in boat sinks to the bottom, then 
the man in the wet suit will be better off.

If they can get out of the water somehow then man in drysuit will be 
better off.

But, anybody who wears just a swim suit under a drysuit in 40 degree 
water is asking for trouble.

and my [mz] note is, yes, the victim asked for trouble, and received it,
in the form of death. i think the death penalty for ignorance is a bit
steep. [i clarify for semantic's sake, that ignorance is not knowing, and
can be rectified, or potentially can be rectified; stupidity, well...]
