Well there's not much white water here in S. Florida...not even much surf at the beach... I've lived on 3 continents and dozens of different cities, and no place is perfect. If the wether is good, then it's too crowded or expensive... if it's not crowded, it gets boring... So far FL seems to have the best of most worlds...lots of warm water for diving and paddling, no shortage of entertainment and music and reasonable housing and bearable traffic... cya > No melanoma problems here at this time of year.
