some say it is good to discuss things, others say keep it to yourself. well, as a group of friends with a common interest in paddling, i think it is best for me to discuss this with you all first. so let's see where it goes. i've been trying to improve my paddle stroke.... plant the paddle, rotate the torso, pressure to the feet. lately this seems to be working into how i open doors. as i approach a door, i look to see how to plant my feet, a hand reaches for the door latch, then there's a quick motion in which the door opens - my body flys though doorway, then feet move quickly to catch up... it's become a game! it's suprising just how fast the doors and i exchange places... so far so good in that no one has been coming out as i enter... but we know it's just a matter of time before something goes wrong. so i was wondering, is this a thing at other paddlers have overcome? will i grow out of this, is there a support group, or is professional help the way to go? from behind closed doors, bye by bliven *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net ***************************************************************************
