Then I had to get a boat so newby paddling friends could join me. The Aqua Terra Prism fit the bill. 14 ft SOT that anyone could paddle in moderate conditions. Since I spent much of my time playing in the surf zone, I got a Prijon Twister so I could surf some waves. SOT whitewater boat about 25 in wide It's funny how one boat leads you onto another. After I was profecient at rolling the Twister, my demands for higher performance won out and I started surfing a Necky Rip. A short, planing hull, whitewater playboat. Lots of fun in the ocean and the river. But here I am again, yearning for yet another boat to acccompany the four in the garage. If anyone has a high performance Kevlar surf kayak for sale in CA please e-mail me. There is always room for one more!
