> Maine Sport Outfitters in Rockport > (http://www.midcoast.com/~mainespt or mainespt_at_midcoast.com) usually > has some excellent used sea kayaks for sale - especially in the > fall. They also offer discount prices on new boats. Thank you for the feedback... but 2 of my kayaks have come from Maine Sport<smile>... They are both Current design boats. Actually, if you know any one intersted, I have a CD Storm for sale. Good Boat, too big for my wife now - it was too big for her when she bought it, but she wanted to make sure she could come out of it if she needed to, and no amount of conversation was going to change that. She has gotten over that now and wants a Perception Shadow, talk about a changing her mind<smile>! I have not been disapointed with Maine Sport except for the travel time to get to them (3-4 hours assuming it's not Tourist season). I have done several purchases with them via phone, but I don't think would buy a boat by phone - unless I KNEW the exact boat that I wanted, there is too much touchy-feely that has to go into a boat purchase Speaking of Tourist season... Why do they call it tourist season if you can't really HUNT them<grin>???
