inches 1" = 2,5cm [we use the single quote for feet]

example: i am 1,8m tall or 6'0" [6ft 0in] 
and closer to 30cm = 1'
as there are 39.?"/1m
and of course, we use a "." where you use a ","!!

you do well ari, i _try_ to list the metric equivelants when i make
statements like, i have a 16' [4,8m] solo canoe [do you also call them
"canadianne canoe" like the british??]
