[Paddlewise] Repair help

Today I paddled in the rain with the temperatures in the 50s.  Even though
there were a lot of anglers on the lake, I saw more birds than I usually
do, so it wasn't a bad trip.  However, when I was loading my Dagger
Meridian on my truck, my hands slipped and I dropped the boat.  Now I've
got to repair a gouge in the gel coat.  The fiberglass cloth is exposed but
not damaged.  What do I use on a Meridian?  Do I need to get something
special from Dagger?
