I really find videos limiting, and well-composed slides fascinating. Slides provide better random access for recalling areas or scenes in response to questions, and are many times easier to put together to make a talk. A lot of this depends on your style, though Julio -- are you comfortable "carrying" the story with your own narrative, or would you be intimidated by that? If the latter, perhaps a video might be the better route.
