I flatwater sprint in a 27# carbon-kevlar-lead boat that swamps when capsized,
powered by a carbon fiber, cranked, microweight wing that won't brace, will
dislocate your shoulder if you miss your catch by 1 cm, and goes real fast for
exactly 1 km.

I sea kayak in an old plastic Sealution using a home-made Greenland style wood
paddle that leaves my back in better shape after 20 miles of open sea paddling
than when I started, and I could probably paddle 12 hours a day indefinitely.
It sculls, it braces, it rolls, every type of stroke is soft and easy.
