I once carried a gallon of ice cream packed in dry ice and wrapped in a spare sleeping bag on a group rendezvous a few years back. After two days, the ice cream was still too hard to dent with a spoon, and there was enough dry ice left to refreeze the water in my cooler freeze packs.
