Thanks..Jay My favorite method to hang boats in the garage is with lap style seat belts from a car. I nail or bolt the safety belt attachments to a rafter. 2 seat belts per boat, spaced about 1/4 from each end or at the bulkheads. For a heavy canoe we set up a pulley system to hoist the boat to the rafters.
