All this talk of people who cant find icy waves to practice their ice cream
headaches has me all teary-eyed.

Wayne,
on Lake Superior

A friend who lives about 20 miles up the shore from Wayne reports that, despite a warm winter, the temperature of the lake is still only about 33 degrees F. (0.6 degrees C.).

hey Roger,

i visited with the folks in the marine science remote sensing group at
Rutgers a couple of weeks ago. my impression is that if you ask their web
group, they will do what they can to help. They are getting the sea surface
data straight from space!... Live...and have the software to automate the
images.

so send them an email
and
let us know what happens.

The Rutgers site has the best sea surface temperature data presentation
that i've seen.

bye bye bliven
