I bought a sea sock from Pacific Water Sports (206-246-9385) when I had a Necky Swallow with no bulkheads. The sock was great and indespensible. I used it as a gear bag, it kept the boat clean, and once it was in the cockpit and "burped" the air would cool in the boat on the water and the sock would sort of suck into the boat. I think anyone with zero or only a rear bulkhead should use one to limit the water in the boat in case of capsize. Barbara in Richmond, Calif.
