Probably the best solution for us is to use pogies with light waterproof gloves. We have heard there is an Avon product called "Skin So Soft" that doubles as an insect repelant. Is this really true? If so, where can we get it? >> Keith, You need to find a Avon salesperson to get some SSS. I found that it did not work all that great and it makes you smell kinda *fruity*. We used it for sand fleas and chiggers in Costa Rica and El Salvador with marginal results. It does work so so <skin *so so*ft> for mosquitos. I still go for the Military dose of DEET when it really matters!
