Some time back, in a discussion of compasses for kayaking, the Aquameter II
was recommended. To date I haven't found a source for the Aquameter. Is
it available from one of the mail order houses?

NWOC, at (http://www.nwoc.com/) has it. I suspect several of the retail
outlets in my part of the world would also UPS it to you. I'm listing
two who carry it. (I've seen it on their shelves.)

Try West Marine. I like their Ritchie Kayaker ($49.99) . In the past I have
heard complaints about Aquameter losing fluid although I have not
personally had the problem. I did have problems with a Suunto and also a
Silva losing fluid.

Maybe I just abuse them.
