For those that aren't aware, Hebert is paddling 675 miles from Yukatan to Louisiana. He left Yukatan 14 days ago (May 26) and was spotted about 4 hours ago 128 miles SE of Louisiana. Heberts goal is to bring about public awareness of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. btw, water surface temps were at 95.9 F at Hebert's last check-in. Love those warm Gulf waters :-) Check out the site. There is a map marking Hebert's route and progress with direction of current in the Gulf.
