Just passing this on -- the 16 has been superseded by the 18, but local
paddle jocks say the 16 is a sweet boat. Note the correct email address
is at the bottom.

The 16 is a great boat for 160# minus paddlers plus gear, but the 18 is a real
gem for us 180# plus folks. Try it, you'll like it. Wonderful balance in almost
any wind and sea direction combination and faaast.

I weight 210 and love my Kevlar Falcon 16 (bought for my wife but
comadeered). It handles rough water beautifully, turns well when
leaned and tracks superbly for a short, rudderless boat.

BTW, I don't think it has been superceeded...the 18 is in ADDITION to
the 16, as far as I know.

es correcto! Tom is *thinking* of re-designing the 16 but it is just a
thought at the present. It would include a new deck <rubber hatches, flush
fittings> and possibly a de-tuned hull <same tracking, more initial stability>
IMHO the new deck is a great addition but the hull should be left as is.
