[Paddlewise] maine-nova scotia

with one long day of driving, i can reach Portland, ME and get aboard the
overnight ferry to Nova-Scotia... hey, hey, hey.

help! what's cool for kayakers?
i assume car top boat are no problem on the ferry. a friend asks, does it
make any sense to leave the cars in Portland and just take kayaks? 

any tips on paddling on the otherside?
