I also use a Trangia and when I last traveled in Alaska found fuel relatively difficult to obtain. Sterno fondue fuel (in a yellow 12 oz. squirt bottle was available fairly often and worked well. I suggest stocking up in Anchorage when you arrive. Smaller centres just don't carry fuel grade alcohol. I agree - I think that one might have some difficulty finding fuel grade alcohol in a lot of areas in Alaska - not something that the normal hardware stores even here in the booming metropolis of Juneau (pop. ~30,000) carry. White Gas is a much more common and easy to obtain fuel.
