In reply to Derek Hairon's request to relate experience with the MSR
Dragonfly stove with an adjustable flame, I have used one about 4
times. I purchased it in an effort to keep the temperature somewhere
in the proper "BAKE" range on my Outback Oven. I have used it for
that purpose and to cook pasta.

Like the Whisperlite and XGK stoves, the Dragonfly boils water
swiftly. The flame can be adjusted fairly easily although the metal
adjusting knob under the stove can be a little awkward to get at while
cooking with a big pan. It may also get hot. Baking temperature
control with the oven remains something of an art, even with the
adjustable stove. I think I need to get a feel of when to turn the
flame down. Approximate temperatures and times usually yield decent
baked goods in the Outback Oven, though.

The Dragonfly did go out unexpectedly once but that problem did not
recur the next several times I used it. It uses a shaker jet like the
XGK. I have not tried to see whether it is compatible with the stove
stand I had purchased for use with the other stoves.

I hope this helps. I should check out the published review mentioned
by other subscribers. I have not read it.
