The Aquapac is serious waterproofing for electronics. But you need to check the condition of seals, clamps, seams. Though I've not tested this in our salt water laboratories. . . I would imagine that having a pastic pouch with a large air pocket in it would tend to blow out the seams if put under pressure like getting between the deck and the paddler in an exit or entrance. I agree that the place for a radion is on the paddler, not in the boat or on the deck. Probably needed most when the paddler is separated from the boat.
