Getting out of a boat increases your safety only if you are getting on dry land. 2. Getting into a boat only increases your safety if you are getting into a lifeboat from a sinking ship. Remember, this is a humor post, but still contains a lot of truth and food for thought. michael (if I wanted safe, I would not have been born) culpeper_at_geocities.com wrote: > As far as finding bodies outside of boats, I believe that this has more to do with > it being very difficult to stay in a boat when either in great distress or when > dead, so I don't find your mention of such statistics to be at all useful. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.gasp-seakayak.net/paddlewise/ ***************************************************************************Received on Sat Jul 11 1998 - 05:25:08 PDT
