[Paddlewise] Missing messages

Dear PaddleWisers:

If any of you post a message to the list and don't see it in 
an hour or so, please feel free to contact me to ask about
your message.  I will get back to you as soon as I can.  I 
get a lot of email (a *LOT*) and sometimes messages are missed.  
Sometimes, it doesn't show up because the poster replied to the 
sender of a message and forgot to reply to the entire list.  I've 
done that :-)  Also, you would be surprised at how many mail 
errors I see due to different systems going down throughout the 
day and those subscribers sometimes never see that message.  Rarely 
is a paddling-related bounced message not released.  Most bounces 
are spam and subscribe/unsubscribe/help messages or messages from 
a nonsubscriber responding to a posting by a subscriber who has 
cc'd a lot of people who may not be on the list.  I send these on 
through, too, if they are paddling related.  Other messages 
bounced are those with image files attached (these will not be
released out of respect for those that pay for the messages they
receive, so send a URL for viewing images or announce the image
and offer to send to interested parties privately).  Too large a 
post, or too large a header field (filtered to prevent spamming of 
the list) are automatically bounced.
