At least you know you can do it. The trick now is to do it
consistently. ;-)

BTW, there is sea kayaking on public TV tonight (7:30 on KTCA-TV in
the Twin Cities). The series is Anything Wild, hosted by John Viehman,
the original host and producer of Trailside. Tonight's episode is "Sea
Kayaking England's North Sea," with Derek Hutchinson, "the grandfather
of modern sea kayaking." It is the second part of a two-parter. (Both
episodes will be repeated in one evening in September.)

It was the lack of air and pure terror. However I do wish I knew what I
did right that time. From where I was told my paddle was when I came up, I
should be able to do a strait jacket roll if I can repeat the hip flick.

I think Dana was practicing his storm roll, the one that starts with
a vertical blade to reach the solid water under the foam.

You're right. The link at the KTCA Web site took me to the description of part 2, which is what confused me.

Hmm,

I thought tonight was part 1. When did the show the first one? I'll be taping
it. Perfect for one of our winter parties.

PS I think Janet and I will be out on Wednesday night.
