Greetings, I'm finally planning a trip! I know this has been covered in the past, but does anybody have information regarding the Georgian Bay Islands. I've been to the Canadian National Parks website, but it's short on what i need to know. All info appreciated. Thanks, -jspeer, sunny (and HOT) Brooklyn NY *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.gasp-seakayak.net/paddlewise/ ***************************************************************************
Gerogian Bay covers a larger area. Sound of Parry sound tends to have more boat traffic, while norht to Kilarney is less populated and lesss boat traffic. I was there 2 weekends ago. Out to the Islands of the Minks and McCoys which for the most part oare public islands. No maintianed sites or fees. Check out Richard Toods web page for several trip reports at: http://infoweb.magi.com/~richard/ There are reports also available through Nick Shades web page and also at Laughing Loon.
