Paddlewisers,

Steve Cramer asked:
>Does anyone besides me and RSK talk about the "Catch" phase of the

In swimming there are several phases of the stroke:

1. "entry" of hand into water
2. "catch" of the stroke
3. "press" downward with the hand/arm
4. "transition" to next phase
5. "push" water back with hand to full extension
6. "release" of hand from the water
7. "recovery" of hand/arm toward next entry phase

How many of them do people see as applying to a paddle stroke? I'd think
that either C or K would be the same. Agreed?

Yup. Pretty standard for sprint.
