I have asked a number of kayak related questions recently and have received
no response so I'll phrase this one a little differently.

What glue would one use to attach a liberal gun hating piece of mini-cell to
a rightwing, right-wing born again kevlar/graphite cockpit?

Thanks

Perception hydro-grip is the answer to your adhesive needs. Just be sure
to let both sides dry before applying.

Some evangelical athiest contact cement will do just fine. It is available
at any hardware store. Get the Highly-Flammible stuff. Hydro-grip probably
works too but I suspect it is repackaged contact cement.

I'd look for some of that anarchist leaning contact cement that's rubber
based. There's also Nazi silicone, and Marxist-Leninist epoxies. I've
discovered that even though their politics are all wrong, the fascist
stooges at most marine supply shops have politically correct adhesives
despite their alignment behind the radical motorized nautical hordes. They
can usually help you out on the technical end of things without subverting
your allegience.

I suppose it all comes down to how permanent you want the coalition. . .

Geo./Svenn --Pro-choice, whale hugging, gun toting, Marxist-Buddhist NRA
members . . . You got a problem with that?

Contact cement (non water soluble kind).

Right side or left side of the cockpit? :) If it's loadbearing, Hydrogrip. If
it's just padding, even hip pads, your basic hard-hatter's Weldwood contact
cement works fine, and it's cheaper.
