Kennebunk has an interesting harbor but other than that, there's not much. Just north is Biddeford and Biddeford Pool which has some interesting spots. The great kayaking, though, runs from Portland north, about 35 miles north of Kennebunk. You also could try Portsmouth, New Hampshire, a little south of Kennebunk. I'll send your inquiry along to some of the Network members that live in the Kennebunk area and that have email. They may be able to answer your questions in more detail.
