list I'm looking into buying a touring kayak(solo) for the Texas Water safari, a 260 mile endurance race. I've been a sit on top kayaker for about 8 years, and I have little experience w/tourers. Although I do paddle distances over 10 miles at a time almost every day on the Gulf Coast, I really don't know what I need as far as a choice of kayak, and I just bought a new sit on top, so my budget is limited. I'm looking for a light, agile, cheap(used) kayak that would suit my needs.
