Hi Jack, I enjoyed meeting you at the symposium. Have you given Dan the info for this list yet? As for gluing stuff to polyethylene, the best product I have tried is Lexel caulk, which somewhat resembles silicone II caulk and comes in both clear and white. You can get it in both caulking tubes and in smaller tubes for general repair and adhesive work. You may have to hunt for it, though, since not all hardware stores carry it. Note to Jackie or any other creative soul on this list: The North Star Ski Touring Club recently made up business cards for its members to carry. The cards carry contact information, including the URL for the club's Web site. How about doing something similar for Paddlewise? The card could be made up as a graphic that could be downloaded from the Web site, printed on members' printers, and cut to size to carry in wallets or purses. Then if we happen to be telling someone about Paddlewise and can't remember the subscription info, we can simply pull out the card and hand it to the other person. Have acquired a second hand Tupperware sit-on-top, and would like to be able to do some limited mods. Thoughts? Thanks.
