Bruce: I can report that the monocular floats very well in fresh water. However, I would make one change. When I created the monocular sleave; (or glove), I put the bare neoprene on the outside. Being black, it is not that visable. The other side of my neoprene is bright blue liner. It would have been a better choice to make the outer part of the sleave/glove with the blue material. I was thinking at the time, that if I bungied the monoc, the bare neoprene stay put better than fabric would. Think I will substitute the gray tape with Solex reflector tape. That should do the trick. AND, I get the bare neoprene outside. Incidentally, the glue I used was "Aquaseal." I reinforced the seams with grey tape. Do you think such a sleeve would float binoculars? *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.gasp-seakayak.net/paddlewise/ ***************************************************************************Received on Sat Aug 29 1998 - 12:12:23 PDT
