Bruce:  I can report that the monocular floats very well in fresh water.
However, I would make one change.  When I created the monocular sleave; (or
glove), I put the bare neoprene on the outside.  Being black, it is not
that visable.  The other side of my neoprene is bright blue liner.  It
would have been a better choice to make the outer part of the sleave/glove
with the blue material.  I was thinking at the time, that if I bungied the
monoc, the bare neoprene stay put better than fabric would.  Think I will
substitute the gray tape with Solex reflector tape.  That should do the
trick.  AND, I get the bare neoprene outside.

Incidentally, the glue I used was "Aquaseal."  I reinforced the seams with
grey tape.
