Here's another Web site that shows Lake Superior water temperatures, which a friend just sent me: http://www.coastwatch.msu.edu/twosuperiors.html It shows that surface temperatures in the Rossport area are currently 60 - 64 degrees F., and that the Apostle Islands surface temperatures are currently 67 - 68 degrees F. (about 20 degrees C.). However, there is also a small area south of Michipicoten Island in the east end of Superior that is in the high 40s!
