The Rows for Rose race is on Saturday in Narragansette Bay, Rhode Island (Rhode Island IS a state). It starts at the Naval Warfare College in Newport and finishes about 3-4 miles later at Rose Island. Classes are unlimited (over 19' or under 42 lbs) Poly A,B, Composite A,B and unlimited-unlimited where you can use anything that you think you can row like a rowboat or Volkswagen Bug or something. Entry fee is $30 and it goes to the Rose Island preservation fund.
