RE: [Paddlewise] Paddling down the Mississippi

Not only has this been done by paddle many times, some guy *swam* the river
to New Orleans earlier this summer (it might have been last summer).  I
didn't hear what the guy may have done to his skin after swimming in
that...uh...water, but I wouldn't swim that far in that river without
someone giving me a whole bunch of money.

If you don't get enough information through this list, let me know and I'll
post to the MN Canoe Assn list to see if anyone there can provide more info.
