Me and my SO (aka my dog) are tickled to announce the arrival of a new member of the family. This bouncing, waterproof, baby girl weighs in at a dainty 23 kilograms, and is 17 feet long by 20 inches wide. We look forward to sharing many years together with this wonderful creation. The workers at the shipping company whose loading dock she was born at wanted to give her a delicate, feminine name to suit her beautiful lines. They arrived at the moniker "Sirius, low volume". We (well, mostly the dog), however, have opted to give her a more rugged name that gives her a connection to the greatest of lakes that she will spend so much time on, and conveys some of the lakes power, lest we (as in I) forget and do something stupid. After a long discussion , we finally settled on "Mataafa Blow", in memory of the boat that met her fate where she will make her maiden voyage tomorrow. Think I gave ya'll the wrong URL last time.hehe http://www.mnhs.org/prepast/mnshpo/ship/spencer/spedwe.html Cigars and Ballast Rocks (tm) all around please.
