I must apologize to all those paddlers who forwarded cheques for Official Canadian Ballast Rocks (TM) to me since my last post. I had stated that I would be on Superior on the weekend and would pick up some. To make a long story short, we had some blustery weather move in which brought with it some swell swells. I spent the day surfing in Brule Bay, rather than picking up the Official Canadian Ballast Rocks (TM). Nothing too intense -- just set after set of long, perfectly formed waves. As the day went on the waves washed away my cares, including my rock picking duty. I wish I could put my day in a package and ship it to you, but I can't. All I can do is ask you to be patient, and to send further cheques.
