In a recent posting Ralph Diaz gave a univocal (and unpaid) endorsement to the Creature Comfort seat and discussed its use in Folbot and Nautiraid folding kayaks. My question (for Ralph or anyone else with experience) is whether/how well/how this seat fits and words on a Feathercraft K-Lite. But I did the next best thing. I slid the seat sling far back and dropped the seat inside the cockpit facing the back of the boat. It was a perfect fit. The interesting thing is that the seat portion had to be slipped under the protrusion of the sponsons but was able to rest below them. The fit was so snug for the seat that it might not have to require any other mean of attachment since the sponsons held the seat in place. So, short answer is that it will fit. The next time I knock the boat down, I will actually replace the sling and the rest of the Feathercraft seat with the Creature Comfort one to see how well it will work while underway. ralph -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ralph Diaz . . .
