Does anybody know who introduced rotomolded kayaks and when?
Thanks much.

To my knowledge, Tom Johnson's River Chaser kayak made by Hollowform
Company in the early 1970s ('72 or '73?), was the first rotomolded kayak.
Here around Portland, OR, the boat was referred to as the "Hollowdog." I
don't remember where the compnay was located, but Tom is still living in
Kernville, CA, I think.

Hollowform was located in Woodland Hills, CA <northern LA> In 1980 I picked
up a load of 16 'dogs FOB the factory for $199 a boat!
