In a recent article in a local business magazine about the
growth of popularity in sea kayaking, Don Dimond is quoted
as saying that there have been two recent sea kayaking
fatalities on the Great Lakes: one on Lake Michigan and one
on Lake Superior.

I know of two sea kayaking fatalities on Lake Michigan,
including that of the Polish kayaker this year, but I have
never heard of a sea kayaking fatality on Lake Superior.
Does anyone have any information?
