How can there be 360 degrees of 60 nautical

	Sheeeeesh. I'm really dissapointed in ya all.. The reason the distances get
smaller is elementary physics.. As you go closer to the poles, it gets colder.
And, as all Seinfeld fans know, when it get colder, shrinkage occurs. So,
theres your answer....

As Scott forgot to point out, this is also why days get shorter in the winter.
